Freestanding Faucet Installation Steps

Step 1: Locate hot and cold water supply side by side. Step 2: Install 1/2 inch MIP fittings just above finished flooring height. Step 3: Mark installation holes using mounting bracket as a template and pre-drill holes. Step 4: Thread base onto extension tube and tighten set screw. Step 5: Feed supply lines through extension tube. Step 6: Slide skirt over extension tube. Step 7: Attach supply lines to the bottom of the faucet body and attach the extension tube to the faucet body. Step 8: Insert expansion bolts if using on concrete. If using screws into wood, wait for the next step. Step 9: Attach supply lines to 1/2 inch MIP on the floor one at a time, being careful not to kink the hoses. Step 10: Install nuts onto mounting bolts or install screws at this time. Step 11: Check for leaks, then slide the skirt down into place, covering the base. Step 12: Check the function and finish.
